The Covid-19 Face Mask Website Retailers 😷

Over the past year, the pandemic has pushed many Shopify stores alongside other ecommerce stores across the web to morph into face mask website retailers. So, within this guide, we're going to share a compact list of the sites that we would like to credit for playing their part in preventing the spread of Coronavirus.

Here at Karmoon, we think it's a fantastic thing that these brands alongside thousands of Shopify sites are utilising their industry resources to increase the manufacturing of face masks. To top it off, many of the brands that are supporting the fight against the pandemic are giving some if not all of the profits to noteworthy Covid-19 charities.

For instance, each MaskClub™ mask purchased donates a mask to first responders on the front line and proceeds from the Ultra Soft Face Mask by The Well benefit Baby2Baby and their Covid-19 relief efforts for families around the country.

We're sure that many other brands are playing their part so stay tuned to the end of the article to find out how to tell us about them. Right now, let's turn our attention to the first brand on our list:

Off---White

The first face mask website to be featured in today's article is Off---White, an apparel brand that sells men’s, women’s and children's clothing alongside a broad range of homeware furnishings on its website.

Currently, there is a fine-tuned selection of face mask selections for him and for her on this website. It's great to see companies like this that already have their mantra in the bag, take part in the defence against Covid-19. Wouldn't you agree?

We're also loving this website from a Shopify development perspective, so you could say that our intentions for creating this article are two-fold.

Off---White

Just Hype

Established in 2011, the HYPE. face mask website began as a self-funded project, designing printed clothing and accessories. HYPE. went on to win a t-shirt printing competition, after which, the store had its first batch of stock delivered.

Within Months, HYPE. evolved into one of the UK’s most recognisable brands, which we're sure many Shopify sites hope to achieve and today, the brand can now be found stocked in a huge number of stores worldwide.

So here's one of the best ecommerce sites we could show you as an example of how businesses jump onto what their customers are calling out for, in order to remain on the ladder of success and if you want our advice, we'd take note of these guys as even some of the best shopify stores could learn a thing or two from this brand.

Just Hype

Dumbgood

Dumbgood is the next face mask website on our list, that offers its customers quirky face masks that display interesting prints and if you're looking for some inspiration on how to transform your Shopify website into face mask business, then this could be a great option for you ro refer to.

From the MTV logo to characters from Spongebob, you'll see an array of edgy face masks available to purchase on this website.

It's important to remember that every store on this list is not only playing their part against the pandemic, but they're also practising smart product selection.

What do we mean by this? Well, the need for face masks is a necessary aspect of our lives right now so, naturally, the demand for face masks is at its highest.

When ecommerce stores jump on the "what's in demand? bandwagon", they're focusing on what their audience expects (and needs) to see.

This was especially true at the start of the pandemic when face masks were not as widely manufactured, but these designs are different and stand out from the crowd which is something that we can all appreciate.

Dumb Good

End.

END. is one of the best ecommerce sites to visit if you're looking to splash out a little more on a designer face mask or if you're thinking of transitioning your Shopify website into an upmarket face mask store.

This particular face mask website sells products from brands such as; Kenzo, Ralph Lauren, Balmain and Balenciaga alongside many others.

It's cool that their face mask collection has its own edge. They're not your run of the mill masks and neither is the website's design.

As a Shopify development team, we just love to see brands like this smash the ecommerce scene.

End.

Shaboink

Shaboink was a beautiful face mask website set up by Post Malone. However, this site can now only be found in the wayback archives.

Still, we'd recommend taking some Shopify design inspiration for your business if you're looking to feature face masks, as this brand was a killer in the field.

Shaboink

Vapor95

Vapor95 are a team of Vaporwave and Aesthetic enthusiasts who see fashion as an outlet for creative expression.

Working with the most talented designers from around the world through this face mask website, the goal at Vapor95 is to supply its customers with the greatest variety and highest quality of Vaporwave clothing on the internet, and you've guessed it, they now sell face coverings too.

The designs on this site are so different from the others we've seen and what's more, they're super affordable too. So, there is something for everyone on this list.

Feel free to take a look around this store and take inspiration away with you for your Shopify website.

Vapor95

Brora

Victoria Stapleton is the founder and creative director behind Brora's face mask website. Her love and adoration for a wardrobe centred around the finest fabrics, such as; tweed, silk, wool and linen can be found throughout this brand's apparel collections.

The vast majority of their collections are made from natural fibres that hold antibacterial properties, which is great considering we're in the middle of a pandemic and we all understand by now quickly germs can spread.

This website contains a wonderful collection of face masks for women, men and children alike in a selection of beautiful Liberty prints.

The company have promised to donate £10.00 from each face mask scale to the charities that are helping those affected by Covid-19 and so far, they have raised over £280,000, so a big well done and a thank you to the Brora team from our Shopify agency London based team for making this happen.

Brora

Jaanuu

Derived from the Hindi word for life (Jaan), Jaanuu is in reverence to all that life challenges us to face, accept and overcome. Through life’s journey, we grow and we'd say that this ethos is exactly the kind of spirit that is needed to tackle the pandemic throughout many more ecommerce stores and Shopify sites, wouldn't you?

According to this face mask website, their coverings are America's #1 Mask. Jaanuu has been featured in; GQ, The Cut, Marie Claire, Refinery 29, 4 Los Angeles, Popsugar, LA Weekly, Good Housekeeping, Daily Mail and Mom Trends.

They've sold over 5 million masks and one of those customers was, in fact, Barack Obama. If that wasn't enough, they've even been donating 1 million of their face masks to; Baby2Baby, Union Rescue Mission, LA Family Housing, River Fund and others.

If that's not an ecommerce store playing their part, we don't know what is. So, Shopify stores, take note.

Jaanuu

Tylmen

The next face mask website that we'd like to feature is Tylmen. This company began in 2016 when the founder’s father cleaned out his cluttered closet and gathered hundreds of unused vintage and designer neckties. He gave these to his son for him to wear on college football game days.

He decided to sell most of the ties on campus at discounted prices and after telling his friends and neighbours about his new product offerings, he sold nearly 60 ties in his first week, growing attention and attraction online and in the community.

His goal has always been to empower others while emphasising the importance of being your best self that inevitably includes dressing the part. Visit the website to learn more about their debonair face mask pocket square.

Tylmen

MaskClub

Let's mosey on over to the MaskClub, the acclaimed largest face mask destination in the world. Their story began at the beginning of the pandemic early last year, as they aspired to provide their local hospital with protective face coverings during the pandemic.

So, if your looking to move your Shopify website into the field, take a look at these guys.

The team successfully donated 250,000 masks to the hospital, but they didn't stop there. They knew that there was more that they could do. So, on the 10th of April, MaskClub was launched.

MaskClub is the first branded face mask website to give back to America’s first responders. In order to do this, the company is officially partnered with the First Responders Children's Foundation.

The foundation provides support for; medical personnel, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, police officers, and firefighters.

Today, customers can purchase face masks from favourite brands such as; Warner Bros, Care Bear, Hello Kitty, alongside many others.

MaskClub

The Well

Up next is The Well, and you've guessed it, their focus is centred around wellness and health. This is one of the best ecommerce sites that we could show you if you're looking for other products alongside face mask coverings that will help the fight against Covid-19.

The Well offers everything from face coverings to hand sanitiser, vitamins and minerals. The goal here is to enhance the functionality of our immune systems while teaching us how to take care of our sanctuary.

In order to help those suffering from anxiety that has been sparked by the intensity of the pandemic, there are even a number of courses that can be purchased by those who need assistance with acknowledging and letting go of unnerving feelings and emotions.

The Well is a fantastic face mask website that truly cares about its customers on the inside as well as the outside and it's well worth taking a look at this store's layout for some Shopify design inspiration.

The Well

Lotuff

With a focus on creating each piece by hand, the Lotuff face mask website uses the best methods, leathers, and materials around to bring their collections to life. From women's bags, purses and pet collars to men's bags and wallets, each step of the production process from start to finish is deliberate and methodical.

Lotuff strives for nothing less than perfection, just like our team of Shopify experts. So, naturally, their collection of face masks focus on the finer details.

At this point, we're sure that you've tried on a face mask that felt ill-fitting. Well, it would seem that Lotuff has experienced this too because their face masks are adjustable so that you can personalise the fit. Now, that's one that we haven't seen before!

Lotuff

Kenny Flowers

Kenny is the man behind the brand Kenny Flowers. Over these years, Kenny travelled the beaches of Brazil to cities like London, but it was in between the countless hotels, hostels, houses, and hammocks that he usually stayed in, one thing was always constant.

That, of course, was his dad's hand-me-down Hawaiian shirt; that faded pink beauty was constantly there, constantly on, and constantly an inspiration to live life with half the buttons down.

Life is a serious business, says Kenny, but the most important thing to remember is to have the best time that you can, even when times aren't so great and from our team of enthusiastic Shopify experts, we have to say that we agree.

Work hard, stay inspired, pursue your dreams, but just remember; it's not that tough to enjoy yourself along the way. Be the smile you want and the party you're looking for, no matter where you are or what you’re doing.

That is what Kenny Flowers is all about. A better fit and a fresher design. We'd recommend taking a look at this face mask website if you're looking for cool and laid back men's face coverings or some general Shopify design inspiration for your store.

StringKing

StringKing is the home of everything sports equipment apparel related. On this ecommerce website, you will find products residing in collections such as; men's and women's lacrosse alongside hockey and baseball.

Face masks and isolation gowns are among the PPE offered via StringKing. What's great about this face mask website is the versatility of coverings that they offer.

The cloth face mask is the ideal choice for everyday wear, as it has been manufactured with washability and reusability in mind. The surgical mask is an ASTM level 3 medical mask, designed for those who work in high-risk environments.

Lastly, the 3-ply face mask is a handy disposable option for children. You can find out more information about each of the masks offered by visiting the StringKing website.

StringKing

Profound

Profound is a face mask website brand built on the convergence of streetwear and high fashion which has materialised through clothing as a visual language and channel of communication. Every collection on this ecommerce website tells a story from the perspective of the designer and the world they exist within and there's no reason why your Shopify website can't be this way too.

Profound products are artfully designed to invoke a sense of timeless poetry within the framework of global contemporary fashion, as they explore the relationship between the raw and elegant.

This is one of the best ecommerce sites featured in today's article when looking at the volume of mask variations available. We're so pleased to see all of these stores pulling through to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Profound

Birdwell Beach Britches

In 1961 Carrie Birdwell Mann transformed her small Southern California home into a sewing room and store, launching Birdwell Beach Britches. It was one of the first businesses that specialised in surfwear, making her living room one of the first surf shops around. Her first employees were her husband and son and her first customers were lifeguards in Newport Beach.

Designed for the beach and built by hand, Birdwell's aspiration is based upon creating purpose-built apparel and accessories that will endure any journey.

The best ecommerce sites selling face masks right now are curating their products to be sustainable and durable for the future and since that is where it all began for Birdwell's, it's no wonder that they have become a face mask website like many other ecommerce companies which is a great argument as to why your Shopify store should do the same.

Birdwell Beach Britches

We've Got You Covered

We've Got You Covered is next up in our guide of face mask website retailers playing their part in the pandemic. Unlike many retailers in today's guide, this online store begins and ends with the manufacturing of face masks. As a company, their sole purpose is to ensure that they keep everyone safe, but they do this with a quirky flare, basing each of their face mask designs on a musician or group of artists.

However, something which we find very inspiring is that 15% of the proceeds from every purchase go towards the 'MusiCares Recording Academy'. MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for people in the music industry during times of need, treating each case with integrity and confidentiality.

As we all know too well, the performing arts industry as a whole has taken a huge hit in recent months, but it's wonderful to see that businesses like We've Got You Covered recognise that the arts are worth preserving, which is why their focus is to keep the industry afloat.

So, if you fancy doing something similar on your Shopify store, we're all for it and would encourage you do spread some positivity in this uncertain time.

DSPTCH

DSPTCH is a face mask website that produces goods with a large focus on functionality and durability in San Francisco.

The DSPTCH product line serves a variety of needs from the demanding traveller to the urban commuter. From camera straps, belts and watch straps to keychains, bags and cases, face coverings are the latest to debut on this website which many Shopify websites can take inspiration from.

Face Mask Aid

In March 2020, a men’s clothing factory in Brooklyn transformed its workspace to create face coverings that could be distributed to those in need. As all nonessential work came to a halt, the shift in production not only helped fill a critical need but also enabled some of its employees to keep working.

Through the power of social media, a common desire to help fill the personal protection equipment void alongside a generous donation of $50,000 from the Windhover Foundation, the factory was able to join forces with a team of medical professionals. Thus, Face Mask Aid was born.

Currently, this face mask website is offering 1-for-3 mask donations, which is where three masks will be donated to essential workers in need every time one limited edition mask is purchased.

Face Mask Aid

Rowing Blazers

Rowing Blazers is an American face mask website and design lab for the classic pieces founded by Jack Carlson. Dedicated to authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship, Rowing Blazers revolve around irreverence, inclusivity, sustainability, empowerment, and fun.

Throughout the brand, a sense of humour and quite often a hint of irony can be found in everything that they do which is as central to the brand as their sense of community.

Rowing Blazers' timeless aesthetic pays tribute to their dedication, historical research, and commitment to making pieces that will last a lifetime.

Working with some of the most renowned fabric mills, artisans, factories and workshops around the world, Rowing Blazers holds itself to nothing less than the highest standards, which is why they are entrusted with the task of curating blazers and kits for leading sport and social clubs, including the U.S. national rowing and rugby teams.

However, since the occurrence of the pandemic, Rowing Blazers are now accustomed to economically manufacturing face masks from leftover materials used to create blazers. We have to say that we love this idea, and right in the heart of New York City’s Garment District is where this economic solution to the pandemic is taking place.

So far, with the help of their customers, Rowing Blazers have been able to donate thousands of masks to those in need, which is truly incredible.
