SWIRL has announced a live commerce integration with Shopify, meaning that sellers of the platform can now construct shoppable videos alongside leveraging live stream features to boost engagement and increase sales for their online store.

SWIRL and Shopify have formed a long-term collaboration for merchants to receive access to a full-stack live commerce solution that can be plug and play without the need for tech investment or training.

Additionally, sellers on the platform can take advantage of video commerce features while maintaining complete control over their; database, payment gateways and customer experiences.

Furthermore, online stores will be able to choose between; one-to-many, one-to-one and short shoppable movies within the live shopping app.

Sellers will also receive access to; moderation features, real-time analytics and business intelligence on the performance of their video content and consumer behaviours.

Note:

As mentioned above, merchants on Shopify will retain control of their payment gateways, however, with the assistance of shoppable SWIRL videos, the path-to-purchase will be reduced significantly.
